Day 6: Wednesday

Today was in the high 80's, so after morning chores we spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach. I sat and studied while the children swam and we had BBQ outside for dinner so here's my hot day/beach dress: Mom and Dad found this at the PX (Postal Exchange) which is a store only for soldiers and their families, but the name brand is "Derek Heart" which is also sold at Sears and Ross. My flip-flops are from Wal-Mart and they are so comfy and the flowers are so cute!

  2. Hannah: Thank-You, I've truly been blessed.
The truth is, I'm allergic to most foods that tend to cause people to gain weight: Processed Dairy (like Ice-cream,pudding), Wheat and Gluten containing grains( so I can't have cake, or bread)and refined sugar, so no desserts really unless it's fruit or something made with natural sweeteners. That's pretty much it.

  3. Hey Jacqueline - I just found your blog and I'm so excited!!! I like dresses a LOT more than the skirt-and-shirt deal, but modest dresses are so hard to find! Your blog is really helpful!

  4. Thank-You! I'm so glad that you found it helpful! I started this blog because I was having trouble finding cute, practical, fashionable, modest clothes, and I wondered why someone didn't start a website directing where you could shop and find clothes with all of those qualities. So I prayed about it and that's when I started Modest Finds! Thanks for your feed back!
    ~Blessings! Jacqueline
