  2. Hello,
I found your blog some time ago and have enjoyed looking at the different modest outfits you wear! I was wondering if you knew of any place that sales modest wedding dresses, my sister just got engaged and is looking for her wedding dress now. The best thing would be a place so she can try them on, but anything is better than nothing!! :)
    Thanks,
    Roxy

  3. Anonymous: I do too! It's so comfortable and my absolute favorite!

Roxy Girl: There are 2 websites I know of that have modest wedding dresses. They are both LDS dress companies but they seem to be the only people that know how to make a modest wedding dress! One is latterdaybride.com and you can actually go to their store in Salt Lake City Utah to try the dresses on, the other one is totallymodest.com
I prefer the style dresses from Latter Day Bride and they even send you free swatches of the dress fabric. Totally Modest you have to pay $2.00 a swatch.
My two favorite dresses from Latter day Bride are Camilla: http://latterdaybride.com/camilla-details.php
    and Nico: http://latterdaybride.com/nico-details.php
    Hope this helps!

  4. Hello Again,
Thanks for those ideas!! I looked up those dressed and they are gorgeous!! I think it's sad that only LDS and Mormon companies carry modest dresses. My sister happened to find a place in Puyallup WA about 3 hours away from where we live, that has a selection of modest dresses. So we( my mother and my two sisters and I) drove down there and it was well worth the drive, the ladies (a mother-daughter team) were very kind and though it was a small shop it was a teasure to find. The one my sister pick out is on this link. http://www.aformalchoice.com/images/TB7507.jpg
Some of the other dresses we saw are very nice too and the prices are pretty good too, her dress is one of the high ones.

  5. Hi! That's so exciting! It's hard to pick something out if you can't try it on and see how it feels and looks, so I'm glad she found something remotely close... :) When's the wedding? you must be SO excited! Please pass on my congratulations!
    Blessings,

  7. Hi Jacqueline,
That's how it worked, they did not have then one she picked out at the shop but other ones like it. But she is going to orber that dress and it should be here in about 8-9 weeks!!! She looks so beautiful in a wedding dress but one that is modest and stylelish is even better. Lot of the girls in our church have looked up to my sister and future brother-in-law's courtship as an excellent example, the modest wedding dress only adds to the finishing toughes. The wedding is set for June 27,so about 15 weeks 6 days!! I'm so excited, I love(brotherly love) my future brother-in-law, we have such a fun big brother little sister relationship and of course we have been waiting for this to happen for about 2 years. The Lord is so good!! :)
